On October 11th a service division of the Caspian Energy Group – the “Crane Marine Contractor” Company started lifting “Volgar”, a marine, non-self-propelled, floating, pontoon type crane with non-slewing lifting gear.
“The vessel underwater hull is being exposed to a routine certification procedure. In particular it is required for the vessel class confirmation by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping” – said Andrey Prikhno, a managing director of Crane Marine Contractor.

This marine giant is a true pride of the Company. Floating crane “Volgar” with its lifting capacity of 1600 t took an active part in onshore and offshore stages of oil platforms construction for Caspian fields.
