Today the ice-resistant fixed platform LSP-1 was moved away from Astrakhan Shipbuilding Association (ASPO LLC, enters CNRG Group) to the Y.Korchagin field which is developed by oil company “Lukoil” in the Caspian Sea. Today in the morning the platform was unmoored from the ASPO aquatory for further towage to the place of installation in the Sea.

CNRG Group is the general contractor of the LSP-1 project – the main facility of the Y.Korchagin oil-and-gas field and the first ice-resistant drilling production platform in the Caspian Sea.  The steel structure of 16 500 mt weight made of the hull of the floating semi-submersible drilling rig “Shelf-7” includes drilling, process and power systems as well as a block of shipboard equipment.

The marine operations (moving of LSP-1 away to the Caspian Sea) were carried out by the special fleet of “Crane Marine Contractor” company which represent the service division of CNRG Group.
