CNRG Group is ready to spend about € 200 million on realization of the investment program.

On 09.09.22 at the meeting with the RF Prime-minister Vladimir Putin, the head of the oil company “LUKOIL” informed about the end of the project on the development of the Y.Korchagin filed in the Caspian Sea. In March 2010 the company intends to start production of the first Caspian oil in the Russian Federation.

In April this year Vladimir Putin visited Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association  (enters into CNRG Group) which is the site for construction of the ice-resistant fixed platform (LSP-1). The Prime-minister underlined the unique character of the project on construction of the first Russian ice-resistant oil-producing platform – this is the first time a Russian company participated in realization of such a project on a “turnkey basis” – from design, engineering and procurement, through to construction and installation in the Sea. Thus the instruction of Vladimir Putin to attract Russian companies to the construction of offshore facilities were fulfilled.

And the astrakhan wharves which are maximally close to the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea are getting ready for realization of further projects on offshore fields development. The nearest 4-5 years “LUKOIL” plans to start development of several fields: the one named after V.Filanovskiy, Rakushechnoe field, the 170th kilometer, Hvalynskoe one and others. The CNRG Group General director Ilya Kokarev as saying: “for participation in further offshore projects at the Caspian sea in 2009-2013 the company is ready to spend about 200 million Euros on the investment program for modernization of the production capacities”. The modernization will be applied to the main production sites which enter into Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association.
